I wish I knew how to say “Thank You!” in a thousand languages to express my gratitude towards everyone who helped organize, spread the word and bring their little ones to Operation Hero in February. It was a huge success! Together we collected over 37 lbs of care package items to send to our soldiers overseas (see picture at the bottom for all the goods in bags.) Items donated included snacks of all types, deodorant, personal care items, a WVU shirt (Go Mountaineers!), a Nerf game and much, much more! Aside from putting together an amazing care package, the little ones had a blast dressing up as heroes. My daughter is now convinced that she’s a member of the PJ Masks. The joys of being two and believing that you can be anything you dream.
A very special thank you to Autumn Branscome Photography for driving in from out-of-town to help shoot pictures and entertain the little ones. If you’re in the Princeton area of WV be sure to check her out. She is absolutely fabulous with the little ones!
And THANK YOU to the fabulous Teri & Dan Blevins of Lil’ Bit of Heaven Cupcakes. When we first picked a date for these sessions their new bakery was expected to be opened however that did not work out. Teri & Dan could have told us to find another location for our sessions but they didn’t. They rearranged their remodeling schedule and supplies to ensure the sessions went on as planned. They truly are amazing people. Go buy some cupcakes as soon as they open their bakery doors! You will not be disappointed. PS: Strawberry & champagne cupcakes are the best. I won’t be mad at you if you bring me some or a whole box.
