Going to Get Our Soldiers | Deployment Mini Sessions

As time drew near for deployment to end I knew I wanted to do something fun for the kid’s to welcome the soldiers home.  My idea began as a cute Pinterest photo I saw online of a child holding a sign sitting on luggage stating she was going to get her daddy but then it grew.  Some amazing folks helped us acquire a US Army Blackhawk helicopter (yes, you read that right!) for the day and we were able to capture the kid’s photos with the beloved machine their soldiers fly/work on.  I’ve been sitting on these images for over two months to make sure we didn’t ruin the surprise for the soldiers and I don’t think I have ever been more excited to share with you than I am right this moment…
