Things don’t always work out as planned especially when weddings are concerned. I was not supposed to shoot a wedding in October. Life was just too busy with birthdays, family members leaving to travel, etc… for me to take on a wedding. I wanted to stay sane this fall, then Anna contacted me. Josh & she had gotten engaged this summer and were desperate to find a wedding photographer they loved. I agreed to shoot their wedding; realizing that I would need a distraction from all the craziness of my personal life. Yes, weddings are a nice distraction from the real world sometimes for me.
When Anna told me their reception would be outside in the middle of October after their fall church wedding I was nervous but I had faith. I had faith we’d have stunning leaves and a gorgeous day. I was wrong, we had rain. The reception was moved indoors to the church gymnasium but it worked out perfectly. We had stunning light for formal photos, a beautiful ceremony, lots of amazing cheesecake & the most beautiful couple.
Congratulations Anna & Josh.
